How are the apartments equipped?
- A kitchenette with two heating plates, an extractor fan, a sink and a refrigerator
- A bed
- A desk with a chair
- A desk lamp
- A wardrobe
- A floor lamp
- Curtains
- A shower bad
- Ceiling lamps
- A smoke detector
All furniture, except for the bed is permanent installed and mustn’t be removed.
What is not in the apartment and you must bring your own?
- TV
- bed linen, pillows and blankets
- tableware
- cooking pots and utensils
Can things be removed or changed in the apartment?
We’ve arranged everything for you. Therefore, no furniture may be removed and brought in with you. Attachments to the wall are not allowed. This means that you are not allowed to attach nails, dowels, power strips and/or picture frames or posters to walls or doors.

Which documents do we need from you before signing the contract?
- A copy of you ID card or passport
- A copy of your last 3 salary slips or a copy of your employment contract
When are you a housemate at THE BERLIN HOUSE?
- A copy of you ID card or passport

Can you register at THE BERLIN HOUSE?
As soon as you get the signed contract back from us and transfer the deposit to our bank account. If everything checks out, you get an appointment for the handover.
How many people may live in the apartment?
Our apartments are exclusively for one person.
What is included in the rent?
The rent includes the furniture and all the incidental costs like heating, electricity and water.
Wi-Fi and the use of the Gym and the Co-Working Space are included.
How long can you rent an apartment for?
The contract is limited to 6 months and then automatically expires.
When does the contracts start?
The beginning of any contract is the 1st of each month.

What do you have to do if you want to move out earlier?
You can terminate the contract with a notice period of 4 weeks before the end of a month.
The cancellation must be in writing and sent by letter to our office.

Can you bring your pet?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at THE BERLIN HOUSE.

What do you have to do when there is damage in your apartment?
Please report the damage to our team immediately by email.
We will take care of it and help you.
Which services and gadgets can you use?
For free:
- Wi-Fi: up to 25 Mbit/s

- vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies
For a fee:
- We-Wash Spot
- You can wash your clothes for a small fee.
- You can book a washing machine and a dryer in advance.

Can you receive any mail at THE BERLIN HOUSE?
Yes, we have a mailbox and a small parcel box.
The mail is distributed by us and usually reaches you on the same day.
It is important that you write your apartment number on every order!
Should larger packages arrive for you, we have a bell system at the entrance.
